FAQ
Is Clara a replacement for legal review?
No. Clara is an assistant tool that helps you review contracts faster. It identifies risks, extracts key terms, and summarizes content. You remain responsible for your legal advice and decisions. Use Clara as a thorough first pass, then apply your own judgment and client instructions.
How accurate is the analysis?
Clara uses advanced AI (Mistral Large) and is tuned for contract review. It is highly accurate for typical clauses and risks, but it can miss edge cases or misread very unusual wording. Always treat the output as a starting point and verify important points in the actual contract. We recommend attorney review for all material decisions.
Can Clara handle contracts in other languages?
Yes. Clara can analyze contracts in multiple languages. The analysis and chat can be in your preferred language. For best results, the contract text should be clear and reasonably structured. Mixed-language contracts are supported; the model will work with the dominant language or the parts it can interpret.
What happens if an upload fails?
If an upload or processing step fails, the document will show a Failed status. You can try again (e.g. re-upload or re-run analysis). Common causes include corrupted files, unsupported format, or temporary service issues. If failures persist, check file format and size, and contact support if the problem continues.
Can I use Clara on mobile?
Yes. Clara’s web app is responsive and works on phones and tablets. You can sign in, view documents, read analyses, and use document chat. Upload and full workflow are optimized for desktop but are usable on mobile. We do not currently offer a dedicated native mobile app.
Does Clara train on my documents?
No. We do not use your documents or analyses to train our or any third-party AI models. Your data is processed only to provide the service (analysis and chat). Mistral AI, our provider, does not use your content for training its general models. This is set out in our terms and data processing arrangements.
